The Stanford Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) actively promotes Native American students in the fields of engineering and science. The Stanford AISES chapter encourages American Indian youth to enter the world of science and engineering while preserving their cultural heritages. This is accomplished by activities such as tutorial services, participation at the AISES National Conference, presentations by companies in the fields of science and engineering, and informational sessions such as resume workshops. The meetings are very informal and very interactive. The E. & J. Gallo Luncheon is being held on May 24th, Stanford University, Native American Cultural Center at the southeast corner of Lomita Drive and Santa Teresa St. From 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) was created in 1988 as a non-profit organization. Widely known as the "Premier Hispanic Organization," NSHMBA serves 32 chapters and 8,000 members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. It exists to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development. NSHMBA works to prepare Hispanics for leadership positions throughout the U.S., so that they can provide the cultural awareness and sensitivity vital in the management of the nation's diverse workforce.
