The Allegrini family has passed down the culture of the vine and winegrowing in the Veneto region for more than six generations and is globally recognized as an enduring symbol of excellence in Amarone. Looking to continue their exploration of what’s possible in Italian wine, the family founded Poggio al Tesoro estate in Tuscany’s renowned Bolgheri in 2002. With a goal of cultivating extraordinary vineyard sites and Super Tuscan style wines, this iconic winegrowing family established this remarkable 173-acre estate comprising four distinct vineyards—and began a new adventure.
